WELCOME TO THE NEW SEASON

 

Pulborough RFC proudly welcomes its members back to Freelands for the second season at our new home.  

 

Player Registration for the 2007-08 season takes place on Sunday, 2nd September from 10.30 am.

 

The dedicated team of coaches who give up their Sundays are back this season with a new name to our list, Stuart Hobbs with the U7s.  Welcome Stuart!  As for the other age groups, we welcome back Phil Curtis with the U12s, Dominic Lee U11s, John Ramage U10s, Garry Kidner U9s and Steve Solomon U8s.  I am also happy to report that each age group has a healthy number of assistant coaches; that does not mean to say that we won’t need help beyond the touchlines though!  We will really need your help running the bar and kitchen this year, an hour here or there will really make a difference so please help if you can.

 

You will find below the registration forms for 2007/08 and we all look forward to seeing you on the 2^nd September, where Bill Griffiths our membership secretary will be on hand in the Clubhouse to deal with any questions and collect your cash!  If in the meantime you have any queries, do please get in touch.

PLAYER REGISTRATION DETAILS SEASON 2007/08

The RFU are clamping down on presentation of membership cards at festivals and have made it clear

that only players registered on the RFU database for this season will be eligible to play in any fixture.

I have been set a deadline for registration by RFU, which means I must have your subs and a fully completed/

amended registration form by 15^th October at the latest.  If I have not received your form and subs you

 will automatically be de-registered by the system rendering you ineligible for any fixtures.

You have been warned!!!!

• Payment of your subscription and completion of registration form

ensures you are covered by the RFU players insurance and that PMRFC RFU

• qualified coaches are adequately insured to coach you, an important area

I am sure you will agree.

So all I need is for the following to be submitted, in an envelope, direct to me at the address above:

1. A fully completed and signed player registration form.
2. Payment of subscription :

      £40 for 1^st player and non playing family members

      £15 for 2^nd player

      £10 for 3^rd player, or 4^th, or 5^th ….

      Match tea fee of £10 per youth player

      All family of players will be members of “Pulborough Rugby Club Junior Section” and

      will be able to visit Club Bar.

3. For NEW members I also require two passport-sized photos with name and date of

birth written on the back.

As a player I declare that the above information is correct. In signing this form I agree to be bound by the laws and resolution of the Rugby Football Union and its Constituent Bodies and the rules of:

GIFT AID DECLARATION - I am a UK taxpayer and wish PULBOROUGH RFC to claim back the tax on my gift. My tax bill this year will be more than the value of  this gift. I wish the club to treat all donations I have made from 20^th August 2004, and all donations I make from the date of this declaration, as gift aid declarations, until I tell you otherwise.  (Please delete if this declaration is not applicable).

As a parent I consent to any emergency medical treatment necessary during the course of Pulborough Rugby Club activities
